HR & Administration Officer


At Camfil Belgium we are looking for an HR & Administration Officer, reporting to the Finance Director, to lead and coordinate all HR and office activities while providing guidance and support to the Managing Director, Management Team and all employees within Camfil Belgium. The role fosters an efficient, compliant and people-focused workplace.


What you will do:


  • Oversee and maintain HR systems including the EMEA HRIS, payroll administration (SD Worx), and absence tracking tool (HRSS).
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality and compliance of all employee records.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of HR tools and systems, such as HRIS-payroll integration, implementation of the HRIS Recruitment module and the Camfil Job Framework.
  • Supporting overall group HR initiatives and needs.
  • Set up, maintain and update HR company policies and internal procedures (e.g. car policy, benefits).
  • Ensure compliance with local HR regulations and standards (e.g. GDPR, FLA tool, coordinate the rollout of the Mobility Budget initiative 2026).
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including active talent search
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and professional employee experience.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and ensure effective tracking of learning activities.
  • Follow up on results and actions from the employee engagement platform
  • Support and coordinate GEEIS Diversity Audits and related diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director
  • Coordinate business travel, meetings, and company events
  • Manage IT equipment and oversee general office administration


What you will bring to this role:


  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in HR, preferably within an international organization, in both strategic and operational areas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a related field would be preferred
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English is essential
  • Knowledge of the Belgian employment law and local HR regulations and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and a strong motivation to work independently and proactively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Forward-thinking, credible, and able to build trust and make a personal impact quickly
